A native Houstonian, Tom Schmidt is an active attorney, entrepreneur, and investor. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/International Politics from the University of Pennsylvania, and is an Honors graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Texas Law Review. Tom has been investing in and founding private companies for 17 years. In his law practice, he represents clients in investor, shareholder, and partnership disputes, so he has extensive experience looking at deals and the way they can go wrong. Mr. Schmidt has founded or co-founded 13 companies, and currently serves as an officer and/or director of several of them.
