Choosing: It's Your Choice

Our safety and revenue management in the vacation rental industry is based on choices we make on a daily basis. Another way to look at it is that our choices impact our safety, revenue, and net income. If we don't have the right choice available when we need it, then there is a negative consequence that may be hard to overcome.
Our choices affect our lives in ways that we may not even know. Our choices, plus the emotions that are the fuel behind them, create the beliefs that we have. These beliefs drive our decisions, which lead to our actions . And these actions create results.
Before you can manage your thoughts, or the quality of your thoughts and decisions, you have to become aware of them. And, the best way to do this is by paying attention to your emotions.
The lesson we can learn from this is that it's important to be aware of what you're thinking, how you are attaching emotions to those thoughts, and how you react to situations in your life – no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. If we go into every experience with awareness, this will allow us break the pattern.
