Possibility- What Happened to Us
What does possibility mean? Has the word “possible” gone out of fashion? When we were young, we were told that if you work hard enough, there are no limits to what you can achieve. When someone told us that the world was ours for the taking, we believed it.
But what happened along the way?
We stop believing in possibility and withdraw to the world because the job of our brains is to keep us safe. Our brains adapt this as a protection mechanism, our brains are great things that keep us safe.
We do not have to stay in this state forever though. We can change this and return to our natural state: being open, curious and interested in all possibilities.
This could be hard, but it can be done with some time and effort.
How would our lives change if we work from a hundred percent possible mindset?
We all have a hundred percent possible mindset. It’s just that sometimes we are not aware of it. We get so caught up in our day to day lives that we forget there is more to us than what we see in the mirror everyday.
When we are in a hundred percent possible mindset, we see opportunities everywhere. We have the confidence to take risks and make things happen. We have the energy to be creative, to come up with new ideas and solutions. We're able to connect with others in a meaningful way because we're not spending all of our time defending ourselves against self doubts and limiting beliefs.
I think that it's really important that we start looking at what's possible. What's possible is that we can have safer vacation rentals. The reason why I think we're so stuck in this mindset is because most of us are still thinking about safety from our old perspective. We may be aware but we don't fully understand and know the underlying factors why we behave in such a way.
So that's why I created Safer Vacation Rental- to help grow our understanding and move beyond awareness and into understanding and knowing what's holding you back in your business in your life so that you can really achieve what you achieve or your desire to achieve.
I'm really passionate about helping people in the vacation rental industry and so that's why I created it to share my own journey of learning, my own experience of things that have worked for me and things that have not worked for me so that we can all learn from each other.
Possibility is a choice we make every day. Whether we doubt ourselves or not, it's up to us to realize our full potential. Remember that you hold the master key to unlocking your own growth, building upon your past and reaching for new heights.
